Employer: Hey HR guy help us brand it, cause we know you as the HR bandit. Steal some people away from our competition, we provide the money and you secure the transition.
X: Well this may come as a shock, but it isn’t as easy as it seems.
Employer: But we need people fast by any means!
X: Ok than, tell me what you got.
Employer: I’ve got a bunch of people that are to scared and insecure to run from me, so I’ve put them in a building and called it a company.
X: So you got about 50 men working in an atmosphere that’s probably not even near zen and you think you can call it a team than.
Man.., you are a long way from home. You’re not running a company, you’re running a thunderdome.
It’s time for you to realize that you need to internaly and externaly reorganize.
Cause you need a good EVP and some solid HR, cause recruit without it and you wont get far.
Your people are one of the most important parts of your business, if you ain’t got that straight, than what the fu*k is this?
It ain’t a team, no company or a workforce, it’s just a train bound to ride a collision course.
So you got to get your act together, cause HR and business are like birds of a feather.
I hope this makes sense to you, even if it’s a little bit.
Employer: Damn man, please tell me how to do it.
X: Ok, I will.
